Meet The Owner

My name is Emily (Montanez) Bates and looking back the story behind the start of The Pretzel Pantry comes as no surprise to me. I’ve always had a passion for making hand dipped pretzels and a heart for serving others. During my senior year of high school I combined those two “ingredients” and began selling my pretzels to family members & friends to raise money for mission trips. The overwhelming support I received - because of these delicious pretzels - allowed me to serve domestically and abroad in places like New York City, Colorado, Guatemala, Cuba & Uganda! Along the way I had the opportunity to share how my pretzel sales funded these trips and everyone enthusiastically  encouraged me to start my own business. God closed some doors, opened a few others & moved some mountains to get The Pretzel Pantry started! If you’re buying my pretzels today… I want to say “thank you”! You are now an important part of my story!  I hope you enjoy my pretzels as much as I enjoy making them.
